Objectives
The hands on scanning session will include animals. Specific species is based on availability.
This course will cover a basic to advanced level of the abdomen, emphasis on anatomy, physics, principles, knobology, image acquisition and protocols, normals, abnormals, case studies, scenarios, and touch on basic Doppler. This course is designed for Residents and Specialists with an interest in 40 hours of abdominal ultrasound with a Board Certified Radiologist to build their level of proficiency and satisfy the requirements of the ACVIM.
Who Should Attend?
Interns, Residents and Specialists with an interest and or need to be proficient in abdominal ultrasound.
