No, our courses provide hands-on training and education, but they do not confer a formal certification. All our courses are approved by RACE, and you will receive your credits upon completion of the course.

Most of our courses include hands-on scanning, though a few are lecture-only. Please refer to the course descriptions to see if hands-on scanning is included.

For courses with hands-on sessions, live animals are used for training. Please note that the species of the animals are determined by availability and cannot be guaranteed.

A common ratio is 3:1, but it is not always guaranteed.

Our structured course schedule is designed to ensure all material is covered, so we’re unable to offer additional scan time outside of the designated hands-on training sessions. If you would like more hands-on practice, we recommend reaching out to us to see if there are any scan days available.

We recommend a laptop to access slides and notes, or a hard copy of notes printed before arrival (printed notes will not be provided on-site).

The dress code is business casual or scrubs with closed-toed shoes. Layers are recommended, as room temperatures may vary.

Most courses do not have required prerequisites. Some courses include recommended prior training or experience, while others may have specific prerequisites noted in the course description. Please refer to each course listing for details.

No, travel and hotel arrangements are not included and are the responsibility of each attendee. We recommend purchasing travel insurance in case of unexpected course cancellations.

Yes, parking is available for all course attendees.

There is not a designated lactation room, but we are happy to make accommodations for nursing, breastfeeding, or expressing milk during the course. Please let us know in advance so we can assist you.

SOUND loyalty pricing requires the customer to have purchased their ultrasound machine from SOUND within the last 6 years. Standard pricing applies to all other customers interested in purchasing a course.

If you have an Antech voucher, please contact us. The credit must be transferred into an Education pre-paid package; otherwise, it is not a valid payment option when registering.
