The next step after the Introductory Ultrasound: The Basics course is Soft Tissue: Intermediate Diagnostics. You’ll review what you’ve learned and practiced then take the next step into a deeper understanding of pathologies and be introduced to image additional organs such as the pancreas.   • Learn pathology and differential diagnoses of common soft tissue diseases
  • Refinement of abdominal scanning techniques through hands-on instruction
  • Imaging the more difficult organs, (pancreas, adrenals, lymph nodes, etc.) as well as a review of the “Big 5”

Who should attend?

  • Veterinarians and technicians who have completed the Introductory Ultrasound course and wish to continue with the Sound series of veterinary ultrasound education courses. The lecture component is presented by a board certified specialist and designed to improve your understanding of a thorough abdominal exam.
